ABOUT ME

I was born in 1981. Photography came to me as a necessity, a way to inhabit time more slowly, to pause within the folds of things and listen to what often remains unheard.

I work primarily in black and white, because within its tonal range I recognize a truth closer to my way of seeing: imperfect, layered, never definitive. Architectural geometries were my first field of exploration, an exercise in balance and measure; later, the street became a human space — a place of waiting, crossings, and narrative possibilities.

Over time, I complemented my practice with training at several photography schools in Rome, deepening my understanding of photographic language as a means of expression and research. Today, my work is driven mainly by the need to tell stories, to move toward the edges of experience, where images stop describing and begin suggesting.

For me, photographing means returning the world not as it appears, but as it resonates internally. It is both an act of presence and distance, a continuous attempt to give form to what lingers between the visible and the invisible.
